Purpose of the Competition:

Fitness Club is hosting a Dri-Tri (indoor triathlon) to encourage students to try new exercises, events and challenges.    

Looking for some motivation?  Competition? 

Challenge a friend, a teacher or challenge yourself!  

   

What events are in the Dri-Tri and When?

     3 Mile Bike

Where Do I Submit My Results?

* Results will be recorded by a club member, club officer, PE teacher or fitness center staff.

  • After you register, you will be sent a link to schedule your day and time to compete.

*If competing after school, you will need to be certified and have a permission form on file.

How to row (ERG) properly: Video provided by SCAR!     

How does it work? (Rules)

Goals: Complete all three components as quickly as possible! Fastest time wins!

Rules: 

  1. Complete the Dri-Tri in the order of your choosing. 

  2. Biking portion: students must be at 60 RPM or higher.

  3. 1 minute of rest/transition time between exercises.

    1. Any additional time will be added to their finishing time and considered a penalty.  

    2. Teachers/judges: have a stopwatch, announce they are starting transition time, provide a countdown to when the participant needs to start. 

  4. Regular treadmills only. (not the assault treadmill)

    1. Treadmills: all participants start from a dead stop, press quick start and progress up in speed.  

    2. NOT PERMITTED TO JUMP ONTO THE TREADMILL AFTER IT IS UP AT A HIGH SPEED. 

Notes:

  1. A MAX of 5 students can sign up and compete at the same time.  

    1. Sign up form will be emailed to all registered participants. 

  2. Average time to complete the Dri-Tri should be around 30 minutes.
