Selection Criteria

NTHS Eligibility Requirements:

To be accepted into the National Technical Honors Society as an 11th and/or 12th grader, you must meet the following criteria for consideration:

Coursework: completion or enrollment in a minimum of 2 CTC or Technical Education courses by the sophomore year

Academics: minimum unweighted GPA of 3.75 

Community Service:  20 hours of community service (required for initial application, but not for reapplication in year two)

Membership: Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO - FFA, DECA, TSA, HOSA, etc.) or CTC program club (Auto Club, NAHB, etc.) or competitor in program-related events (Cyberpatriots)

*Meeting eligibility criteria does not guarantee NTHS initial acceptance or reacceptance.

**Students must reapply each year, be accepted each year and continue to meet the aforementioned criteria.
