Family and Consumer Science

According to the American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences, FCS is a broad field that equips individuals with the knowledge and skills to make informed decisions about well-being, relationships, and resources for a better quality of life. It includes areas such as human development, personal finance, housing and design, food science, nutrition, textiles, and consumer issues. Our program offers three FCS courses, where student growth is measured through work habits, problem-solving, collaboration, content understanding, and project work. Additional related courses are available in Culinary Arts and Early Childhood Education.
