Business Management

Our Business Management program features three distinct pathways, each designed to equip students with essential knowledge, practical experience, and career-ready skills for success in the business world. Students may choose to specialize by completing all courses within a single pathway or customize their learning experience by selecting courses across multiple pathways to build a personalized skill set that matches their interests and goals. Whether your focus is on Accounting & Finance, Management & Logistics, and/or Marketing, our program offers the flexibility, real-world application, and professional development opportunities needed to establish a strong foundation for your future success.

Accounting & Finance

In this pathway, students will dive into the core principles of accounting and finance. You’ll learn the entire accounting cycle, including transaction analysis, journalizing, preparing closing entries, generating trial balances, and creating financial statements. The program also covers the fundamentals of financial markets, stocks, bonds, and other tradable instruments. Critical decision-making skills related to finance, corporate strategy, and personal finance are also a key focus. Participation in FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) will further develop your communication and business skills, while providing networking and leadership opportunities.

Management & Logistics

The Management & Logistics pathway equips students with the knowledge and skills to excel in business management and supply chains. From procurement and outsourcing to warehousing and transportation, this pathway covers the essential building blocks of business operations. Courses are designed to prepare students for further study in Management or Logistics at the post-secondary level. You’ll also have the chance to gain hands-on leadership experience and participate in competitive events through DECA and FBLA, further enhancing your career readiness.

Marketing

The Marketing pathway teaches students the critical skills needed to promote products and services effectively in today’s competitive marketplace. You’ll explore the entire marketing process, from market research and product design to pricing, promotion, and distribution. The Roar Store provides a real-world learning lab where students can apply their marketing knowledge, while DECA offers competitive events that help build leadership, networking, and presentation skills.
