Welcome to State College Area High School home to the Little Lions. 

State High is a high-performing, comprehensive high school that has a robust course offering, including 63 advanced and AP electives, and 12 in-house Career and Technical Programs. State High's staff is dedicated to making our students college- and career-ready and competitive in a global society. Our teachers are highly trained, skilled and committed to fostering relationships with students, parents, and community members.

Lisa Kuilman-Bolla, director of MTSS and interventions

Lisa Kuilman-Bolla has been approved by the Board of School Directors to be the new Director of MTSS and Interventions, succeeding Jonathan Klingeman.

Corl Street Elementary School first-grade students in Liza Johnson’s art class paint and draw pictures.

The Pennsylvania Art Education Association honored the SCASD art department with its Outstanding Visual Arts Community 2024 award for the first time.
